VoIP installation that actually works on day one
VoIP is a commodity. VoIP that works reliably across multiple Saudi sites, integrates with your CRM, supports Arabic IVR, complies with SAMA call recording requirements where applicable, and survives a Riyadh-summer power cut — that’s a project, not a purchase. Most VoIP problems we are called in to fix come from deployments that treated the IP phones as the project and the network, the routing, and the operations as someone else’s problem.
Unifiedway delivers complete VoIP installation services in Saudi Arabia — from greenfield deployments for new offices to rip-and-replace migrations from legacy PBXs. We work with Mitel, Yealink, Cisco, Avaya, 3CX, and Microsoft Teams Phone, choosing the platform that fits your operations, headcount, growth plan, and budget.
Why Saudi businesses still get VoIP wrong
The first mistake is treating VoIP as a phone replacement when it’s actually a unified communications platform. Voice, video, voicemail-to-email, presence, mobile twinning, contact-centre routing, and CRM integration are all part of the same product family — but they ship configured wrong by default. Without an experienced installer, you end up using maybe 20% of what you bought.
The second mistake is underestimating the network. Voice traffic needs QoS, low jitter, and predictable latency. A network that delivered fine email and SaaS will not necessarily deliver clear voice without specific configuration. We routinely uncover missing QoS marking, asymmetric routing, and oversubscribed links during VoIP deployments — and fix them as part of the project.
The third mistake is ignoring carrier-side complexity. SIP trunking in KSA requires the right commercial contract, correctly provisioned numbers, working DID assignment, and emergency-services routing. Get any of these wrong and your phones work for outbound but not inbound, or vice versa.
What’s included in our VoIP installation services
Mitel VoIP deployments
Mitel MiVoice Business, Mitel MiVoice Office 250, MiContact Center, and MiCollab. As a Mitel partner in KSA, we handle licensing, hardware procurement, installation, configuration, and post-go-live support. See our Mitel partner page for the full range.
Yealink IP phone deployments
Yealink T-series desk phones, conference phones, video phones, and DECT wireless solutions. Standardised across multi-site deployments with central provisioning.
Cisco Unified Communications
Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Webex Calling, and Cisco IP Phones for organisations standardised on Cisco voice infrastructure.
Microsoft Teams Phone
Direct Routing with SBC, Operator Connect, and Teams Phone Calling Plans — see our dedicated Microsoft Teams page.
3CX VoIP deployments
3CX on-premise and 3CX hosted, for organisations that want a flexible, cost-effective platform with strong SMB support.
Contact centre integration
ACD, IVR (Arabic and English), call recording, real-time dashboards, supervisor barge-in, and integration with CRMs like Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, and Microsoft Dynamics.
SIP trunking
Carrier-side SIP trunk procurement and configuration with STC Business, Mobily Business, Zain Business, and alternative SIP providers. Includes number porting from legacy PRI/E1 lines and emergency-services routing setup.
Network readiness
Pre-deployment network assessment to identify QoS, bandwidth, jitter, and routing issues that would degrade voice quality. Where remediation is needed, we deliver it as part of the project — see our networking services.
Survivability
Branch survivability with local call routing during WAN outages — Mitel survivable systems, Cisco SRST, or Teams Survivable Branch Appliance. Critical for organisations with remote sites or operations in NEOM and the giga-projects.
How we deliver
- Requirements workshop — current-state, pain points, integration needs, growth plan, and constraints.
- Solution design — platform recommendation with TCO model and migration plan.
- Network readiness — QoS, bandwidth, and jitter assessment with remediation if required.
- Hardware procurement — phones, headsets, SBCs, and ancillary equipment from Kingdom stock or directly from manufacturer.
- Pilot deployment — IT, executives, and one business unit. Two to four weeks of real-world use.
- User training — Arabic and English, role-based, with quick-reference materials.
- Cutover — usually phased by department or site over evenings/weekends.
- Decommission — old PBX, lines, and contracts retired with proper documentation for audit.
- Post-go-live support — 30 days of intensive hypercare, then transition to ongoing managed support if you want it.
Industries we serve
- Hospitality — hotel guest-room phones, back-of-house extensions, contact-centre integration with PMS.
- Healthcare — clinical communications, on-call routing, and code-blue paging integration.
- Financial services — SAMA-compliant call recording, contact-centre quality monitoring, and trader voice where applicable.
- Government and semi-government — high-availability designs, secure inter-site calling, and Arabic-IVR public-service lines.
- Retail and distribution — multi-branch deployments with central management.
- Professional services — auto-attendant, after-hours routing, and CRM integration.
- Manufacturing and logistics — production-floor paging, warehouse handsets, and resilient site-to-site calling.
Why Unifiedway for VoIP
We are an established VoIP specialist in the Kingdom with engineers certified across Mitel, Yealink, Cisco, and Microsoft. We carry stock of phones, headsets, and gateway equipment so deployment timelines aren’t held up by import cycles. Our installers are present across KSA — Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al Khobar, and project sites in NEOM, the Red Sea project, Tabuk, and Madinah. We design for survivability, deliver against fixed timelines, and stay engaged through ongoing operations if you want managed support.
Frequently asked questions
Can you keep our existing phone numbers when migrating?
Yes. Number porting from STC, Mobily, Zain, and alternative carriers takes 2–6 weeks. We manage the carrier paperwork.
What’s the difference between Mitel, Cisco, Teams Phone, and 3CX?
Mitel for organisations wanting a contact-centre-grade enterprise platform. Cisco for organisations standardised on Cisco. Teams Phone for organisations consolidating on Microsoft 365. 3CX for organisations wanting flexibility and lower TCO. We help you choose during scoping — none of the four is universally right.
Will VoIP work over Saudi Arabia’s internet quality?
Yes — with the right design. Most Saudi business internet is now fibre with sufficient bandwidth and acceptable jitter for voice. For sites with constrained connectivity (remote project sites, mobile-only links), we use survivability features and bandwidth optimisation.
Do you handle international calling rates?
Yes. International calling routes through the SIP trunk you contract with the carrier. We help you negotiate rates and configure least-cost routing if you have multiple carriers.
What about call recording for compliance?
SAMA-aligned call recording is supported on Mitel, Cisco, and Teams Phone with the right add-on. We deploy and integrate the recording platform as part of the engagement.
How long does VoIP deployment take?
Single-site deployment of 50 users: 4–6 weeks including network readiness. Multi-site deployment of 500+ users: 3–6 months phased.
What does VoIP cost?
Hardware, licensing, and professional services depend heavily on platform choice and scope. Free scoping call to design the right solution.
Take the next step
The fastest way to make a good VoIP decision is a 30-minute scoping call. We’ll tell you which platform fits, what the migration looks like, and what to budget. Pair VoIP with Microsoft Teams, unified communications, Mitel solutions, or a full IT consulting review.
